Living Care hosted its first ‘Repair Cafe’ at Clelland Lodge in Nowra on Wednesday 20th September, to help people with small repairs.
Every year, the Melbourne Cup tours the country before the big race in November, and the people who live at Living Care Clelland Lodge were lucky enough receive a visit and have the chance to hold the $200,000 prize!

Pat Jones lives at Living Care Borella House in Albury and she has been featured in the Border Mail Newspaper! She was a popular figure at Yarrunga Early Learning Centre last Friday. The 101-year-old paid a visit to the pre-schoolers to deliver a special gift – a hand-knitted teddy bear. Read more here.
Tayla is an Assistant in Nursing at Living Care Borella House and she recently completed her Certificate III in Individual Care at Wodonga TAFE. At the ceremony Tayla won the award for ‘Excellent Student’!
One evening José Rigor (Manager of Residential Services, Living Care Alexander Campbell House) was driving home listening to ABC radio, when he heard Canterbury Bulldogs legend, Steve Mortimer talk about his passion for senior Australians in aged care.
Living Care Green Hills fete was held on Saturday 29th April. After having to postpone due to bad weather earlier in the month, many were feeling blessed to have woken up on Saturday to a beaming sun and clear blue skies.
A Repair Cafe is expected to be set up at Living Care’s Clelland Lodge in August. The concept was first introduced in the Netherlands in 2009 and now there are over 1000 cafes worldwide.
