McCauley Lodge
McCauley Lodge is a 36 bed low level Aged Care Facility, located at Thirroul on the South Coast. The facility is situated in a cul-de-sac on the headland with views of the ocean and of the mountains behind.
Purchased from Stella Wyndam-Jones in 1966, the facility was enlarged in 1978 and has been regularly upgraded since.
The basic services provided by McCauley Lodge are defined as Low Level Care. These include the provision of meals, laundry, housekeeping and personal care services. The facility offers single rooms for residents and has a secure and gazebo area.
Other services offered at McCauley Lodge include:
- Chaplaincy support;
- Church services;
- Hairdresser;
- Healthcare professionals who visit regularly;
- Library services;
- Planned social and recreational activities including bingo, bowls, BBQs, shopping trips, club outings and scenic drives.
McCauley Lodge has been accredited by the Commonwealth Aged Care Standards Agency. Management is in accordance with State and Federal Governments legislations and regulations and the facility is subject to inspections by their relevant departments.
