Shaw House in a 57 bed low level Aged Care Facility, located at Pendle Hill.

The facility is situated on the same site as our Pendle Hill Retirement Village, Ashwood Aged Care Facility and Crawford Lodge and is set amongst landscaped grounds and gardens. It is a short walk from the local shopping centre and is close to rail and bus services.

Shaw House embraces the Eden Alternative model of care which emphasis not just the physical and clinical needs of residents but also their social, spiritual and emotional needs.

The basic services provided by Shaw House are defined as Low Level Care. These include the provision of meals, laundry, housekeeping and personal care services. The facility offers single rooms for residents and vegetable and sensory garden as well as onsite pet birds.

• Church services;
• Computer room;
• Hairdresser;
• Healthcare professionals who visit regularly;
• Library services;
• Planned social and recreational activities including a ladies coffee shop, mens card croup, guest speakers, visits to local shops and recreational parks. Shaw House also recognizes special occasions and celebrations including Anzac Day and Australia Day.

Shaw House has been accredited by the Commonwealth Aged Care Standards Agency. Management is in accordance with State and Federal Governments legislations and regulations and the facility is subject to inspections by their relevant departments.
